STAY HEALTHY THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS-PART 2
AH, it's so tempting to side step your goal, not to overeat at holiday time. Here's a thought, have a light, healthy snack an hour before party time and then ask a friend to help you stick to your eating goals.
At the buffet table, use a salad plate to keep your portions smaller and cut down on calories. Stay away from unhealthy saturated fat, anything creamy, cheesy or buttery. Avoid or limit foods that will make your blood sugar spike...sugry cocktails, desserts, potatoes, pasta, rice and bread.
STAY TUNED...
Limited alcohol...etc.
Eat slowly...etc.
Avoid salty foods...etc.
Leave old habits...etc.
Enjoy the moment...etc.
